Alggin Metal Industries is a manufacturer of metal products, servicing the HVAC industry in Calgary for 45 years. In addition to wholesale distribution, Alggin operates one of the largest HVAC manufacturing plants in Western Canada. We also have distribution facilities in Lethbridge and Edmonton.
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as a Customer Service Representative – Sales Desk. As a CSR – Sales Desk, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our continuously growing company.
Duties:
- Assist customers with product requirements, product information, order status and other general inquiries
- Communicate with customers in person, via phone and email to provide assistance and resolve inquiries
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions; upsell or offer additional/alternative products when appropriate
- Enter customer data accurately into the system
- Handle customer compliments, complaints and concerns and take appropriate actions
- Collaborate and coordinate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and success
- Always maintain high level of professionalism and business etiquette
- Core work hours: 8-4:30, Monday – Friday and Saturdays as needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in Customer Service in HVAC or construction industry; related experience an advantage
- Exceptional customer service skills, both internal and external customers
- Organized, detail-oriented, output driven
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Team player who brings enthusiasm and ‘get it done’ work ethic; dependable and reliable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
