We are currently hiring a General Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities and Maintenance team. This position plays an important role in maintaining buildings, grounds, and guest spaces to ensure a safe and positive experience for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete assigned maintenance work orders and record materials used

Perform minor building repairs such as fixing faucets, unclogging toilets, replacing light bulbs, switches, and outlets

Assist with preventative maintenance and larger maintenance projects

Support event room setup and teardown

Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory

Respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations in a timely manner

Follow safety procedures and WorkSafeBC regulations at all times

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Perform snow removal and seasonal grounds maintenance

Learn and assist with generator operation and emergency switch-over procedures

Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements:

General maintenance or labour experience
-
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent

Ability to work on-call shifts when required

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Strong communication skills and dependable work habits

Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations

Own basic hand tools considered an asset

Experience with skid-steer or snow removal equipment considered an asset
