As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and educate clients about our range of cannabis products. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
- Educate customers about various strains, consumption methods, and product effects to enhance their understanding of cannabis.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring that all products are displayed attractively and securely.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Handle heavy lifting as needed when managing inventory or restocking products.
- Utilize basic math skills to assist with transactions and provide accurate change to customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in the cannabis industry or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills are essential for managing inventory and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Excellent communication skills are required to engage with customers effectively and convey product knowledge clearly.
- Proficiency in computer operation is necessary for using the POS system and managing inventory records.
- Time management skills are important for balancing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
