Position Details
Role: CNC Machinist Apprentice (Mill & Lathe)
Location: 4205 – 78 Avenue, Edmonton, T6B 2N3
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wage: $25–$35/hr (negotiable based on experience)
Type: Full-time, On-site
Overtime: Available

What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Perform manual machining (lathes & mills) when required
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Manufacture parts to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Report non-conforming items to QA
- Operate overhead cranes safely
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean
- Meet production schedules and weekly manufacturing goals
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues
- Follow safe setup, tooling, and machining procedures
- Maintain accurate production records
- Use hand and power tools as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
What You Bring
- 1+ years CNC machining experience (mills or lathes)
- Journeyman Machinist or equivalent experience (manual machining background an asset)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with tight tolerances
- Solid understanding of measuring tools and inspection processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s licence
- Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required
- First Aid certification an asset
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
