Established in 1988, DOM International is a food import and logistics company specializing in seafood, particularly salmon and value-added salmon products. We are currently looking for a driver to deliver orders in the GTA, as well as pickup products, including at the airport. Daily schedules will vary and average daily hours will be 7.5.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Valid D-Z license with a minimum of 3 years' D-Z driving experience
- 3 years' experience driving a 5-ton straight truck (with reefer)
- 3 years' delivery driving experience in the foodservice industry (asset)
- Clean CVOR, driving abstract, and criminal record check
- Claims experience letter from previous commercial insurer
- Extensive geographic familiarity with the GTA
- Reliable and flexible; able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Good communication, relationship building, and customer service skills
- Capable of and interested in learning
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Able to lift 50 lb.
- Safety oriented
- WHMIS trained (asset)
