Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Laborer to join our growing exterior team. This role involves assisting with various roofing projects, performing manual labor, and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be comfortable working in outdoor environments, and possess a willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using hand tools and heavy lifting as needed
- Support roofers in the field.
- Operate hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to complete assigned tasks
- Perform general site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Carry out demolition or removal of old structures or materials under supervision
- Assist with the setup of scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment for various tasks
- Support with miscellaneous handyman tasks as required on-site
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in construction and carpentry
- Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Have working at heights credentials is a bonus
- Strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and reliability are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
