Mobler Online is a family-owned furniture retailer located in Richmond, BC. We specialize in quality furniture and provide a personalized shopping experience through our showroom and online store.
We are seeking an experienced, reliable individual to join our team and assist with warehouse operations, inventory management, showroom maintenance, and customer service.
Overview
This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse operations, furniture handling, inventory management, and customer assistance. The role requires someone who is dependable, physically capable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities.
This is not an entry-level position.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming furniture shipments
- Help unload furniture containers safely and efficiently
- Pick and prepare customer orders for pickup
- Operate company vehicles, including trucks up to 2.5 tons, for inventory transfers and other business-related transportation when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Assemble, clean, and prepare furniture for showroom display
- Assist with showroom merchandising and furniture layout changes
- Assist customers who visit the showroom by answering questions and providing product information
- Help customers load furniture into their vehicles when required
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the showroom
- Support general day-to-day operations as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse experience preferred
- Experience handling furniture or large household goods strongly preferred
- Experience loading and unloading shipping containers required
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable operating company vehicles, including trucks up to 2.5 tons
- Forklift experience and valid forklift certification are strong assets
- Experience in the furniture industry is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture on a daily basis
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Able to work independently and take initiative

The successful candidate will be expected to assist with receiving and organizing inventory, unloading containers, preparing customer orders, maintaining the warehouse and showroom, and assisting customers in a professional manner.
