Job Summary:
One of our clients is currently hiring a Outside Technical Sales Representative to develop and manage customer relationships, promote industrial equipment solutions, and drive sales growth across Eastern Canada. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with technical product knowledge, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
Location: Hybrid Remote – Aurora, ON
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $66,000 – $110,000 per year + Commission
Responsibilities:
- Identify customer requirements and provide technical product solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, sales presentations, and customer training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and lead follow-up.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and internal teams to develop customer solutions.
- Provide technical support and resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain accurate sales records and activity tracking using CRM software.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, forecasts, and sales reports.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Travel throughout Ontario and Eastern Canada as required (up to 75%).
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Technology, Engineering Technology, or equivalent industrial trades experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Technical Outside Sales experience selling industrial or engineered products.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation during the probation period.
- Valid passport for occasional travel outside Canada.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
Pay: $66,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
