Are you an organized, detail-oriented procurement professional who enjoys building supplier relationships, solving problems, and keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a Purchasing Coordinator (Buyer) to join a global manufacturing leader in Richmond, BC.

What You'll Do
As part of the Procurement team, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day purchasing operations by:
- Managing purchase orders from creation through completion.
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Resolving delivery, invoice, quality, and payment issues.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Supporting the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
- Monitoring procurement KPIs and helping improve operational efficiency.
- Negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost savings where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate purchasing and inventory data.
- Ensuring purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain experience.
- Experience with the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process is an asset.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using an ERP system is considered an asset.
- Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience is preferred.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Compensation
- $28.00 per hour
