Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our enterprise development team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Google Web Toolkit (GWT), JSP, Angular, and experience developing accessible web applications compliant with AODA. You will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-scale applications while collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java Full Stack applications.
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using GWT, JSP, and Angular.
- Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Ensure applications meet AODA and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and product owners.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Agile development processes.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience with Google Web Toolkit (GWT).
- Must Have AODA – Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
- Strong experience in JSP, Servlets, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful Web Services.
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
