PURCHASER
Qualifications Needed:
- High Proficiency with using QuickBooks is a MUST
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software
- Time Management and Organizational Skills are a major asset
- Inventory Management is an asset
- Strong knowledge of the entire procurement process
- Shipping and Logistics experience is an asset
- Experience in the Store Fixture / Millwork industry an asset
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Procurement
- Working closely with Project Managers on their Build of Materials to create purchase orders using Quickbooks.
- Source, negotiate, and comparing pricing on various commonly ordered inventory items
- Follow up with Suppliers to ensure due dates are met as well as quality
- Work closely with shipping / receiving department to receive product/packing slips and inventory items in system
- Runs reports for weeks end, such as Open PO, etc.;
- Able to work with Project Manager to create & maintain Build of Materials for multiple work orders for open and ongoing projects.
- Execute new approaches and systems as required and other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read drawings and CAD experience are a major asset.
REQUIRED
- Processing invoices and shipping paperwork
- Receiving all materials in Quickbooks
