Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and safety protocols to ensure smooth operations and maintain product standards.
Duties
- Operate barbwire and chain link weaving machinery.
- Set up and service equipment daily before operations.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and quality control checks on equipment and finished products.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications.
- Manage warehouse tasks including packaging, inventory management, and material handling using forklifts when necessary.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment to promote a safe workplace.
- Assist in assembly processes as needed, ensuring efficient workflow throughout the production line.
Skills
- Understanding of mechanics
- Patience with troubleshooting
- Ability to operate forklifts safely within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with quality control standards using calipers, hand tools, and basic math skills for measurements.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows including machining, assembly, packaging, and warehouse operations.
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
