Site Supervisor – Residential ConstructionJob Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee residential construction and renovation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating trades, ensuring project timelines are met, maintaining site organization, and serving as the primary point of contact for residents, neighbours, subcontractors, and inspectors.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions while maintaining a professional and solutions-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and trades to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Book and manage all required inspections in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed site checklists, project documentation, and progress records.
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs to ensure work quality and compliance with project standards.
- Provide consistent updates to management regarding project progress, delays, concerns, and upcoming milestones.
- Address questions, concerns, and inquiries from homeowners, residents, neighbours, and stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Monitor site safety, cleanliness, and organization at all times.
- Identify potential issues before they become delays and implement practical solutions.
- Ensure materials, equipment, and labour are available as required.
- Verify that completed work meets company standards and municipal requirements.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination as needed.
- Adapt to changing priorities, weather conditions, project requirements, and unforeseen site challenges.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, Project Coordinator, or similar role in residential construction.
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes and trade sequencing.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions on-site.
- Proficiency with smartphones, email, and digital reporting tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing renovations and occupied residential projects.
- Knowledge of municipal inspection processes and permitting requirements.
- First Aid and safety certifications are considered an asset.

Compensation
Competitive compensation will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
