Position Overview:
Vivo Cura Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Therapist to work alongside our team of Sport Medicine Physicians at both our Central and Northwest location to help co-assess and develop treatment plans for patients. This is a casual position with the opportunity to transition to part-time in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to the physician team by providing the following:
- Assistance in conducting detailed clinical assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Providing patient education, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Monitoring patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure continuity of care.
- Assisting with various administrative responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participating in team meetings and case discussions to contribute to the ongoing improvement of services at Vivo Cura Health.
- Staying current with the latest advancements in spine and joint care and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Educational and Professional Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Athletic Therapy Program
- Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) through the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA)

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- CAT(C) via Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) (required)
