-scheduling will include days evenings and weekend shifts. Start and end times vary depending on resident programming
-required qualifications as per LTCHA, have post secondary diploma in recreation from a community college or university
-ability to work independently and well as co operatively with others , excellent communication skills
-ability to work with residents, families, visitors, and volunteers to creative warm and pleasant atmosphere
-ability to implement and organize programs for alert and cognitively impaired residents
-excellent documentation skills
-good physical and mental health
-experience working with the elderly, in a ltc setting
- duties include lifting, pushing wheelchairs, assisting with dining
