Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook various dishes with attention to presentation, taste, and quality
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist with food plating and garnishing for service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Follow proper food safety procedures during storage, preparation, and service
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Experience
- A Valid Food Handler's Certificate
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with serving customers or working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and a positive attitude towards learning new skills
