Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Millwright to join our team in Guelph. This role is vital to ensuring efficient operations within our facility. Join us and contribute to a company renowned for its durability and innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, adjust, service, repair, and maintain shop equipment and machinery used in manufacturing processes.
- Operate standard machines to manufacture parts, simple tools, and related components
- Assist with major installations, setup, and repairs of machines or equipment
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Assist with building installations, including heating, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Operate welding equipment and perform mechanical repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist with coordinating scheduled tasks with external service vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience working as a Millwright in the metal manufacturing industry
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship and possession of a Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) in the Machine Repair Millwright trade (433A)
- Familiarity with CMMS software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.)
- Experience with press and die setup and machine controls is considered an asset
- Ability to perform simple heat‑treating operations
- Ability to safely use hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs on a repeated basis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: Up to $43.88 per hour

- Do you have any pre-planned time off booked in the next six mouths, we should be aware of?
