Position Summary
Burrowing Owl Estate Winery is looking for a detail-oriented, and customer-service focused sales manager to supervise our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Sales Department. This dynamic role includes activities working with marketing teams, overseeing logistical co-ordination, working with front line sales teams, and handling all process related to online sales. Our office is located in Oliver, BC
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration & online sales. The role serves as an important link between customers, sales representatives, warehouse operations, transportation providers, and internal departments, and ensures seamless order fulfillment and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys balancing customer service, sales administration, inventory oversight, and logistics coordination responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage online, telephone, email, and Wine Club orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate Wine Club releases, shipment schedules, member communications, and promotional offers.
- Maintain customer records and account information within CRM and sales systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, orders, shipments, Wine Club memberships, and winery experiences.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Support e-commerce initiatives and online sales programs.
- Participate in sale and marketing events.
- Monitor order fulfillment and coordinate with warehouse and hospitality teams as required.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and distribute monthly sales, inventory, and logistics reports.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Support operational projects and cross-departmental initiatives.
- Assist with data entry, analysis, and reporting as required.
- Participate in special projects, events, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service/sales administration, logistics coordination, inventory management, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Valid BC Driver's License.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and order management software.
- Experience administering Wine Club programs or direct-to-consumer sales operations.
- Experience in the wine, hospitality, tourism, or consumer packaged goods industries.
- Familiarity with inventory management and logistics software.
- Knowledge of the BC wine industry and direct-to-consumer sales environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
