JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a reliable and safety conscious DZ/AZ fuel and propane Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting, delivering, and dispensing fuel/propane products to various locations while adhering to strict safety guidelines and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load, transport, and deliver fuel/propane products to designated locations.
- Maintain a valid DZ/AZ Drivers License and clean driving record.
- Maintain a valid loading card at various loading terminals and adhere to all safety requirements and procedures.
- Follow established delivery schedules and routes, as assigned.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and Fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations when handling Fuel products.
- Safely operate fuel/propane trucks while adhering to all road regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate delivery routes and address any issues.
- Handle documentation, including delivery receipts and invoices.
- Utilize the onboard computer system to manage deliveries and record information.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid DZ or AZ driver's license with a clean driving record abstract and CVOR with minimum 3 years driving experience.
- Air brake endorsement.
- Basic math skills required.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Required to repetitively push, pull, and lift equipment up to 75lbs without assistance.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and effectively handle problem-solving tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work changing shifts with flexible hours, as required.
- Flexible to work Weekends and/or Holidays when required.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Fuel delivery driver is a plus.
Please note that successful candidates will be required to complete and pass the following testing (provided by the company) TDG/WHMIS/CFA Certification/Terminal Certification to be able to perform job duties.
