TAC Sports is seeking a full-time Yoga Camp Instructor to lead a calming, engaging, and wellness-focused summer camp program for campers of all skill levels. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mindfulness, movement, and helping children develop both physical and mental well-being.
The Yoga Camp program introduces campers to the fundamentals of yoga through fun, age-appropriate sessions that combine movement, breathing, relaxation, and mindfulness. Instructors will create a positive and inclusive environment where campers can build confidence, flexibility, balance, and emotional awareness.

Lead yoga camp sessions in a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate environment

Teach foundational yoga poses, stretching techniques, and movement sequences
-
Guide campers through breathing exercises, mindfulness activities, and relaxation techniques
-
Promote physical wellness, mental focus, and emotional balance
-
Adapt sessions to suit a range of ages, abilities, and flexibility levels
-
Incorporate creative elements such as yoga games, storytelling, and themed sessions
-
Provide individualized encouragement and support to help campers build confidence
-
Ensure a calm, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants

Supervise campers during activities, transitions, and breaks to ensure safety and positive behaviour

Assist with daily camp setup, cleanup, and equipment organization
-
Build positive relationships with campers, families, and TAC Sports staff
-
Follow TAC Sports’ program plans, safety procedures, and child supervision standards at all times
-
Experience working with children in camps, recreation, or wellness programs
-
Background in yoga, fitness, wellness, or a related field
-
Ability to lead safe and engaging yoga sessions for children
-
Energetic, patient, and confident in leading groups in a calm and structured environment
-
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to create an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere
-
Yoga certification or training is an asset
-
Background in kinesiology, recreation, physical education, or wellness is an asset
-
First Aid/CPR certification and Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain them, preferred
-
