### About the Event
Be part of the energy at the Calgary Stampede! We're hosting two major outdoor music festivals — AfroSwitch (July 10) and Stampede Mela (July 11). We're looking for a Cleaning & Sanitation Crew to maintain a clean and safe environment for thousands of attendees during the events and the following mornings.
### Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across the festival grounds during event days (July 10–11)
- Empty trash bins, recycling stations, and compost receptacles regularly
- Clean and restock portable bathrooms on a scheduled basis
- Clear spills, debris, and hazards promptly to maintain guest safety
- Conduct post-event cleanup on the morning of July 12
- Sort waste into proper recycling, compost, and landfill streams
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager
### Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable and punctual — especially for early morning post-event shifts
- Must be 18+
- Previous janitorial or event cleanup experience preferred but not required
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
