Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman/woman Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, including industrial, commercial, and renovation sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely in dynamic environments. Candidates with experience reading blueprints, working with schematics, and handling low voltage systems will thrive in this position. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical components
- Work with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently
- Perform wiring for low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as required
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely completion of electrical work on new builds or renovations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Utilize handyman skills when necessary for minor repairs or adjustments related to electrical systems
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman/woman electrician license or certification
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a related construction environment
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage wiring systems
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics for automation systems
- Experience with renovation projects and general construction practices is preferred
- Ability to interpret technical documents and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety standards and regulations in all work activities

Pay: $28.69-$48.45 per hour
