Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. The Office Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining an organized and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
Duties
- Learn all aspects of accounts payables/accounts receivables/purchasing. Along with daily cash balancing.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Handle filing, document proofreading, and general administrative tasks to support daily office operations
- Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial recordkeeping as needed
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain organization of office supplies and ensure the workspace is tidy and efficient
- Support clerical functions including typing, proofreading, and supporting other administrative staff
Experience
- Previous office experience preferred
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Google Workspace required
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and multi-line phone systems highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading and document management
- Customer service experience with excellent phone etiquette is essential
- Knowledge of bookkeeping or basic financial procedures is a plus
- Prior clerical or administrative experience demonstrating proficiency in computer skills and organizational abilities is preferred
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
