Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail oriented, highly organized person to take over the position of Project Manager in a newly created fast growing renovation company mainly in the retail space to oversee small to medium renovation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail renovations and managing renovation projects from start to finish, demonstrate strong leadership skills, understanding construction trades and some of the tools used to enhance project management effectiveness. This role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all project objectives are met efficiently and safely. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering quality results while maintaining client satisfaction and adhering to budget and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of renovation projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and provide project schedules for the management team and subcontractors providing the services.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress regularly, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates on project status.
- Maintain detailed records of project activities, changes, and decisions for future reference.
Experience
- Experience in renovation activities and management or related roles.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to utilize construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or similar tools if and when they are determined to be effective tools as the company grows.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with cost estimating processes and cost control measures.
- Experience in retail and commercial renovations
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Prior experience working with schedules and managing project timelines is essential.

Pay: $59,802.35-$131,593.94 per year
