Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality preventative dental care while promoting optimal oral health.
Availability
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings (scaling and root planning) and periodontal maintenance.
- Conduct oral health assessments including periodontal charting and intraoral examinations.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventative care.
- Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants.
- Assist dentists in identifying and diagnosing oral health conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment notes.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Review medical histories and identify allergies or medical alerts prior to treatment.
- Provide exceptional patient care and help create a comfortable, welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist license in Ontario and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Current CPR / First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of dental software and digital charting systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
