Home Care Worker
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. This role involves delivering personalized care to seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and caregiving, with a passion for improving the quality of life for others through compassionate service.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration and ensure proper adherence to prescribed schedules
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when required
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and caregiving best practices
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and medication schedules accurately
- Certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is a plus but not required
- Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
