Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Measure, cut, and install siding materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools to secure siding panels properly
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform heavy lifting of siding materials and related supplies safely and efficiently
- Apply caulking around seams and joints to ensure weatherproofing and a clean finish
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or removing old siding before installation
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed throughout the job site
Requirements
- Proven experience with siding installation, construction, or carpentry preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, caulking, and blueprint reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials as needed
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation to job sites
