Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team running our gymnastics Summer Camps! Under the direction of the Executive Director, Summer Camp Coaches will deliver quality, hands-on, fun, and active programming for children aged 4-10 during summer break! This is an excellent opportunity for those with experience working with children and a passion for sport or education. Weekly camps will begin July 6th, 2026 and run for 7 full weeks through August 28th, taking one week off in the middle, August 3-7th, 2026.
Responsibilities
● Supervise and ensure the safety of camp participants and staff at all times
● Execute and supervise age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and outings for campers
● Actively engage with campers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all
● Assist with meal times and ensure campers are following proper hygiene practices
● Collaborate with Executive Director to create a well-rounded program
● Be a positive and encouraging role model for camp participants
● Adhere to all Elevate Gymnastics policies and procedures
● Basic maintenance of the facility, ensuring it is always safe and clean
● Keep necessary paperwork such as incident reports and attendance
● Supervise drop off/pick up
● Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
● Age 16 years or older.
● Ability to engage and connect with children of various ages
● Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about fitness and working with children
● Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations
● High level of responsibility
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
● Previous experience working with children is an asset
● Previous experience working in gymnastics is an asset
● Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices an asset
Education/Certification
● CPR and First Aid certification, or willing to obtain by start date
● Clean Criminal Record Check with Judicial Matters (Level 2), or Vulnerable
Sector Check, within the last 6 months (18+ only)
● NCCP Coaching Levels, particularly in gymnastics, considered a strong asset

● Part-time (30 hour) and full-time (40 hour) positions available
● Pay: CA$20.00 per hour
