Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and reliable Siding Installers to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and handyman skills, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Measure and cut siding materials accurately according to project specifications using hand tools and blueprint reading skills
- Install siding panels, ensuring proper alignment, fastening, and sealing for durability and aesthetic appeal
- Use caulking techniques to seal joints and prevent water infiltration
- Perform heavy lifting of siding materials, tools, and equipment safely throughout the workday
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or removing old siding as needed before installation
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and within scope
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or repairs
Requirements
- Proven experience in siding installation, construction, carpentry, or handyman services
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, levels, and measuring tapes
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and finishing touches
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or on scaffolding safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in various job site conditions
- Prior experience with blueprint reading is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
