Step By Step Childcare Centre is growing and expanding our programs, and we are looking for passionate RECE’s to join our team!
We are currently looking to fill 2 NEW full-time permanent positions. If you are someone who loves working with children, values teamwork, and wants to be part of a supportive and caring environment, we would love to hear from you.
We are currently seeking dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic educators who are passionate about providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children. We are enrolled with the RCIP program as a pathway to permanent residence and have had numerous of our staff be accepted into it. $24.86/hour and extended health care benefits, based on qualifications/experience. Unlike many child care centres, we provide a 40 hour work week, so you are eligible for the various government programs that require that amount.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Registered and in good standing with the College of ECE’s
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- CRC with Vulnerable Sector within the last 6 months
- Up to date Immunization Record
- Knowledge of How does Learning Happen
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for early childhood education
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate learning environments
