Job Overview
At Classified YYC Tactical Laser Tag, we deliver an immersive, high energy laser tag experience inspired by the teamwork, strategy and excitement of popular first person shooter games. Players are divided into two competing teams and battle through five unique Call of Duty-inspired missions focused on communication, competition, and group fun.
We are looking for energetic, outgoing and reliable team members who can create an exciting and memorable experience for our guests while maintaining a safe and engaging environment. Your role is that of a commander leading their team to victory through various tactics, you also act as a referee in the field to ensure the safety of all players and the integrity of the game.
Duties
- Host and guide groups through tactical laser tag missions
- Explain game rules, objectives and safety procedures clearly
- Lead pre-game briefings with enthusiasm and confidence
- Referee matches and ensure fair gameplay
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship and player engagement
- Set up and reset/ clean game equipment between sessions
- Maintain a fun, professional, and high energy atmosphere
- Trouble shoot minor equipment issues when required
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills, being fluent in English is required
- Confident speaking to large groups of all ages
- Energetic, outgoing, and team-oriented personality
- Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced environments
- Interest in gaming, sports, competition, or tactical gameplay is an asset
- Weekend and weeknight availability required
- Experience in entertainment, recreation, coaching, events or hospitality is considered an asset but not required
