Fall 2026 - We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Float Staff and Extended Care Staff to join our team. These roles are vital in providing flexible, high-quality care and educational support to children with diverse needs. Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and care for children in various classroom and activity settings
- Support classroom teachers with instructional activities and behavioural management
- Assist with planning and implementing educational programs tailored to individual needs
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Support children with special needs, ensuring inclusive participation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and team members regarding children's progress and needs
- Adapt to different classroom environments as a float staff or extended care provider, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
Requirements
- Prior classroom experience or working with children preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- A genuine interest in child development
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and patience when working with children and families
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed for float or extended care roles
- Must be committed to creating a positive, inclusive environment for all children

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
