This position will hold complete responsibility for issuance/administration of contract surety bonds for commercial clients; provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to clients, producers, and insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for issuing requested contract surety bonds on a daily basis
- Request financial updates from clients and submit same to insurance companies
- Invoice final bond premiums and annual administration fees
- Process renewable bonds and changes as required
- Assist with Accounts Receivable collection
- Ensure all abeyance items are completed through the use of suspense systems
- Provide backup for other Commercial Account Managers, as required.
- Adhere to all system procedures and insurance company regulations.
- Other duties and special projects, as required.
Qualifications:
- RIBO license is an asset
- Minimum three years industry experience
- Knowledgeable on financial statements, various bond wordings, commercial coverages, and products
- Excellent customer service skills; good written and oral communication skills
- Well organized; an ability to prioritize; attention to detail
- Ability to work effective in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications; EPIC is an asset
