We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and cash handling.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Basic technology sales knowledge is a plus, especially for tech-related products.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive attitude towards learning about new products and promotions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
