Lab Technician / Phlebotomist (Temporary Vacation Coverage)

About Us
We are a busy naturopathic and aesthetic wellness clinic seeking a reliable and compassionate Lab Technician/Phlebotomist to provide vacation coverage for a two-week period. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with the potential for future casual or on-call opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood and other laboratory specimens.
- Prepare, label, and process specimens for laboratory testing.
- Prepare and administer IV nutrient therapies according to physician protocols (training provided if required).
- Monitor patients during IV therapy and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Administer intramuscular injections, including vitamin B12.
- Assist with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) preparation and other regenerative and aesthetic procedures, as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
- Support the clinical team with general patient care and other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in phlebotomy or medical laboratory technology is required.
- Current certification or relevant credentials, where applicable.
- Excellent venipuncture skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in IV therapy, naturopathic medicine, or aesthetic medicine is an asset but not required. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
