Prep / Line Cook – Hot Pot Restaurant
We are hiring a Prep / Line Cook for a busy hot pot restaurant. This role involves minimal cooking and focuses primarily on food prep, plating, fryer items, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Guests cook most of their own food.
Responsibilities
- Prep ingredients using proper knife techniques (meats, vegetables, etc.)
- Plate and organize food neatly and consistently
- Prepare limited fryer items
- Keep prep and line areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Clean and close stations efficiently
- Work well under pressure during busy service
- Communicate and work effectively with the kitchen team
Requirements
- solid knife skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced rush periods
- Strong cleanliness and organization habits
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous prep or line cook experience
- Experience in high-volume or hot pot/Asian restaurants
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Schedule: 16-24 hours part time
Pay: 16-18
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
