Haliburton Timber Mart is seeking an energetic individual to join and lead our
administration team. Candidates must have strong computer and communication
competency, excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Proficiency
with Microsoft Office Suite and Dynamics Great Plains is an asset. You will play a
pivotal role in supporting both daily operations and strategic initiatives. Reporting
directly to the Manager, you will serve as the key administrative leader for the
organization. Your contributions will ensure our operations run smoothly, our reporting is
accurate and timely, and our growing team is well supported.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration: Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll
processing, expense tracking, daily banking operations and month end
reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records and efficient cash flow
management.
Vendor & Inventory Management: Oversee vendor information and track
payment schedules as well as correct stock counting.
Administrative Leadership: Oversee all day-to-day office operations, ensuring
efficient functioning of administrative processes.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve
productivity, cost efficiency, and support scaling operations as the company
grows.
Vendor & Inventory Management: Oversee vendor information and track
payment schedules as well as correct stock counting.
Support for Leadership: Provide administrative and strategic support and special
projects assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a senior administrative role, ideally
within a commercial, industrial, or construction-related environment.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and inventory
management.
Working knowledge of HR practices and applicable employment standards.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to juggle multiple
priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management
software; experience with POS systems is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field preferred.

The actual salary will vary depending on relevant job-related factors such as knowledge,
skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
Pay: $58,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
