North Bay Cycle & Sports is a leading powersports dealership in Northern Ontario, proudly representing Polaris, Honda, Suzuki, and Kress. We're looking for an experienced technician to join our service team, someone who takes pride in quality work and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume shop environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
›
Diagnose, repair, and maintain ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, dirt bikes, and small engine power equipment
›
Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements
›
Look up parts, service procedures, and technical data using digital microfiche and manufacturer service portals
›
Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose and resolve electrical faults
›
Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new units
›
Accurately document work orders, parts used, and labour time using shop management software
›
Assist service advisors in communicating technical findings to customers when needed
›
Mentor and support junior technicians as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
›
5+ years of hands-on powersports or small engine service experience
›
Experience working across multiple product lines — ATVs, UTVs/side-by-sides, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and/or small engines
›
Brand certifications from Polaris, Honda, Suzuki, or equivalent are a strong asset
›
Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and independently
›
Comfortable with computers — navigating digital microfiche, manufacturer service portals, and diagnostic software is part of the daily job
›
Able to read and work from electrical wiring diagrams and schematics confidently
›
Punctual and reliable — we run a schedule and our customers count on us
›
Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude
