We are looking for an energetic, people-oriented quick learner to join a busy comprehensive eye surgery practice in Orillia, located at the edge of cottage country 90 minutes north of Toronto in Ontario.
Our office is a 2700 square foot fully accessible facility built specifically for the provision of high quality, efficient eye care with two waiting rooms, two technician rooms, four MD exam rooms, a laser treatment room with YAG, SLT, and Argon lasers, four special testing rooms with OCT, Visual Fields, IOLMaster, Optovue and a patient learning centre.
Whether patients see us for cataract surgery, AMD treatment, diabetic eye changes, emergency eye care, pediatric eye care, or glaucoma therapy, our goal is to offer the best possible eye care.
Work days are Monday, Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 8-4ish, Friday 8-12. One hour paid lunch break.
Patience and friendly nature essential. Strong preference given to applicants who have completed a university level education.
Job responsibilities will include reception of 60 +/- patients daily and working with a very challenging office schedule using Accuro EMR software. Successful applicants will also contribute to patient flow through the office, telephone and fax communications, OR and laser clinic bookings, and triaging patient/MD urgent calls. Lots of opportunities for office-supported continuing education and advancement including hands-on clinical roles. Lots to learn and we will train the right applicant!
