Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to support and nurture youths in a caring environment. This role involves providing supervision, emotional support, and guidance to children and adolescents, fostering their development and well-being. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and support to youths in daily activities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Assist with personal care routines, including hygiene, dressing, and feeding as needed
- Support educational activities and facilitate learning through teaching and engaging interactions
- Implement behavioral management strategies to promote positive behavior and emotional regulation
- Plan and participate in recreational activities that encourage social skills, creativity, and physical activity
- Communicate regularly with families, team members, and supervisors regarding each child's progress and needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment conducive to growth and development
- Document observations and any incidents accurately to ensure proper follow-up
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents is preferred
- Strong teaching skills to support educational development and skill-building
- Compassionate, patient, and able to handle challenging situations with professionalism
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate youth schedules
- Valid background check clearance and ability to pass any required screening processes
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with youths, families, and team members
- A genuine interest in supporting the growth, safety, and well-being of young individuals
Pay: $300.00-$350.00 per day
