Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 5 commercial vehicles equipped with air brakes across designated routes and delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Deliver goods promptly to various locations, including warehouse retail outlets, or customer sites
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively clients to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with air brakes endorsement (Q driver certification preferred)
- physically fit and can lift 50Ibs plus
- Can be a team player
- Familiarity with load & unload procedures using pallet jacks
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients
