POSITION SUMMARY:
- Manage the QMS, Document Control, and Regulatory Compliance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality systems, processes, and production.
- Serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies and customers on quality-related matters.
- Deploy corporate performance metrics systems and monitor progress.
- Develop and maintain the corporate quality roadmap.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Document new QA processes and update existing procedures.
- Conduct internal audits; support external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Issue QA documents, such as NCR, RCA, CAPA, and impact assessments.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all QA related requests.
- Apply process engineering principles to improve production efficiency.
- Monitor and report on the status of corporate KPIs.
- Manage Regulatory Compliance according to the applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
- Provide Regulatory Compliance services and documentation for the following standards:
- RoHS, REACH, PFAS, POP, PIP, PFOA, chemSHERPA, Conflict Minerals, Rare Earth Minerals, AMRT, CMRT, EMRT, FMD, and ESG.
- Support production with QA related inquiries and provide QA training to new hires.
- Prepare risk assessment and process improvement reports.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field
- Certification in Quality Engineering or Quality Management
Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of QA progressive experience within manufacturing/regulated industry.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory frameworks, especially related to RoHS, REACH, and PFAS.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills.
- High attention to details and accuracy.
- Proficient in ERP and MRP systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
