Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder specializing in Stainless Steel to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly processes, with a focus on precision and quality. This role involves working with various tools and machinery to produce high-quality stainless steel components for diverse applications, including ductwork, construction, and manufacturing projects. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components with precision and adherence to blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards
- Operate plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and other fabrication machinery as needed
- Rigging and handling materials safely using cranes or forklifts when necessary
- Assist with machining, assembly, and installation of fabricated parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances in fabrication processes
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving ductwork, schematics interpretation, or construction experience
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding of stainless steel in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Knowledge of MIG welding, plasma cutting, press brake operation, and machining techniques preferred
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and basic hand tools is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and the use of power tools is essential
- Prior experience working with ductwork or in construction projects is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to welding and fabrication environments

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
