Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and customer service, with a focus on cleanliness and efficiency to deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer questions or special requests
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for cashiering and order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Skills in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience
