Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Demolition Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in demolition projects, ensuring safety and efficiency while working on various residential and commercial sites. This role offers opportunities to develop a broad range of construction skills and contribute to large-scale renovation and restoration projects.
Duties
- Assist in the safe demolition of structures, including removal of walls, flooring, and fixtures
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision
- Prepare sites by setting up safety barriers and clearing debris
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Perform general site cleanup and ensure work areas are organized and hazard-free
Requirements
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation preferred
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in demanding environments
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance
- Prior experience in demolition or restoration projects is beneficial but not required
