Job Summary
We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Assist with food preparation such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- understanding of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
