Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shawarma & Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in shawarma cooking, be passionate about food, and demonstrate honesty and dedication in their work. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Additionally, the candidate will assist with maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook shawarma, pizzas, grilled meats, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Slice and assemble shawarma wraps, plates, bowls, and pizzas in a timely manner
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
- Assist with keeping the restaurant clean, including kitchen, prep areas, and dining areas
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts
- Monitor and manage cooking times to meet service demands
- Assist with kitchen prep work and other duties as required
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have previous shawarma and/or pizza cooking experience
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality food standards
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Honest, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Food Handler Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
