Class 3 Mixer Truck Driver - Wilson Concrete
Wilson Concrete is currently seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and hardworking Class 3 Mixer Truck Driver to join our team. This position plays an important role in delivering quality concrete products safely and efficiently to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and provides excellent customer service while representing Wilson Concrete in the field.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver concrete to various job sites
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the truck and equipment
- Work closely with dispatch, plant staff, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Follow all company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations
- Accurately complete delivery tickets and required documentation
- Assist with general plant or yard duties as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Previous mixer truck or heavy truck experience considered an asset
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices and construction site safety
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours during busy seasons
