About the Opportunity
GL Renovations is looking for motivated individuals with at least one year of construction experience who want to build a long-term career in carpentry and restoration.
No previous apprenticeship required.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn, work hard, and develop their skills under experienced tradespeople. For candidates who demonstrate commitment and potential, apprenticeship support may be available.
We believe in promoting from within and developing future skilled tradespeople.
As an established restoration rebuild contractor, we complete insurance restoration and reconstruction projects throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do
Work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain experience in:
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Painting and finishing
- Framing and rebuild carpentry
- Trim and finishing carpentry
- Professional job site practices
Mudding and taping experience is an asset but not required.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related hands-on experience
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Comfortable with ladders and physically demanding work
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Reliable transportation
- Mobile phone
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Criminal record check

Compensation & Advancement
