Job Summary
As a Duraform Cribber/stripper, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by providing expertise in forming and installing cribbing systems. You will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling Duraform panels, ensuring precise and stable support structures for various concrete applications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, proficiency with power tools, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction plans to determine cribbing requirements.
- Measure, cut, and assemble Duraform panels according to project specifications.
- Install and secure cribbing systems to provide stable support for concrete structures.
- Utilize power tools, such as saws, drills, and hammers, to shape and fasten cribbing components.
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all measurements and cuts, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate cribbing activities and meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of cribbing systems to ensure safety and stability.
- Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cribber or in a similar construction role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of construction techniques and materials.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
- Familiarity with Duraform panels and their installation processes is an asset.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
